    My problem with this number is IF the pd here is using it, they are alerting for an address 5 years ago a ways from me.it's a robocall autodialer & never right for my part of town. There doesn't seem to be anyone to call or email to update the numbers called.

    Our county is using this to notify residents in the event of hazards or emergencies in the area. Very annoying as they did initial setup last Wednesday -- ringing without message, multiple calls to each number. Once set up, I think it will give a recorded message if answered live or voice mail -- also says it will play recent alerts if the number is called by a registered number in the county. Must be a central call number for multiple agencies using this service.

    It's and emergency alert system, in my town it was used this morning to alert PPL around the area where an elderly person was last seen. I missed the call and called back an hour later. There was a recorded msg from the police dept
