   bot caller for a car warranty scam
   
   "this is a reminder that your vehicle's warranty is about to expire, we have tried to reach you and have been unsuccessful, you should have received a letter in the mail, press 1 to speak to a representative"
   
   there is no letter
   they have no idea if you own a car or warranty or anything
   they bought your number from other scammers or ping callers
   
   they are a "legitimate" warranty business in the sense that they do sell car warranty, its just predatory toward the naive or elderly who will fall for it at their exorbitant rates.
   
   sign yourself up to the ftc's do not call list

   after 30 days on the list start reporting these people, its not much, but its something.
   
   do not answer the phone if you can help it
   do not press 1 to tell them to stop
   do not press 2 to be removed from their call list
   
   all it tells them is that your number has a person behind it, they'll ramp up the calls and/or pass your number on to other scams
