Same was asked to provide my card number.....as to progress further with my Canadian Visa application......when I asked them to email me details first.....told me that all details will be sent after I make the payment.....that's freaken scam.

The other comments are correct. They are asking for the first 6 digits of your card and u can hear same calls being made at the background.The magic words are " We have a contract with Mastercard thats why i knew who your bank is" when bank codes are listed in google or anywhere. She also said they are lookong for young individuals who speak good English with great educ background but when i said im 49 and graduated with just an assiciate degree she still said in a good contender fir the job. This is definitely a scam. You dont give money to anyone who calls u up and asking u to pay for something u dont owe. -

they called to sign me up to work in canada. they wanted 1000 USD transferred with a few hours to process the application. i could hear other clerks in the background as well. i didn't transfer anything. also, they wanted to know the first 6 digits of credit card.
