Daniel reported Imposters scam with the number +12044006608 as Trustworthy number
alled from 204-400-6608, and gave 844-525-2330 ext # 291 as a call back number. Said they were with Champion Energy, calling c/o the state of MD and Pepco to set me up with them as a supplier and lock me in with a better rate. Got a little angry when I questioned them and asked if I could call them back once I had verified the info with Pepco. Called Pepco, and they kind of shrugged and said I could choose whatever energy supplier I wanted, so I called Champion Energy directly at the number listed on their website and they also weren't sure how to check, and suggested I check with Pepco (ugh!). However Champion Energy has like a million numbers listed on their website, and 844-525-2330 isn't one of them. Likely scam, not worth maaaaaybe saving a few cents a month on energy.
