   Woman called, she started inquiring about the business. She introduced herself as a federal employee (no name, no institution she represented) and wated to start new contracts for 20 years with business that had their tax ID at least for 2 years. Wanted to know gross income, years in business, then she got to the portion of the tax ID, yes she wanted the tax id and other important numbers of the business. She was stopped and alerted that we had seen the phone number as a scam number, and asked her about her name and the institution she represents. At that point she said she represented a company that helps federal institutions, but that she didn't work for the federals, also avoided giving her name and finished the conversation right away.
   There should be a way to report these people for real to stop them from utilizing our phone numbers and wasting our time with their schemes.
