Claims he's from Uber, and it kinda makes sense 'cause I just finished a delivery. But then he starts asking about how much cash I got on my card, saying it's for verifying my identity. Thing is, he's taking forever, and all I can hear is crickets. I keep saying "hello," but no dice. Ended up hanging up 'cause it felt sketchy as heck.

This is a legitimate uber number. Uber used it to connect me directly to my actual rider. Of course, you never want to discuss personal or financial details with any rider. (Hence they now add the disclaimer about that) Only talk about the current pickup/drop-off, or arrangement to return a left item)
