My dr has been using this service for appointment reminders for about a year now. Call comes in two days before, is always an automated message. I suppose someone could use any of these services for spam/scams, but not when I get the calls.
-
Was a reminder for my upcoming dermatologist appointment in Southwestern Ohio. Odd they use a Colorado number, but is legit.
Nana replied 2018-07-25 16:32:27Did they tell you who the appointment was with and where? -
I've gotten these calls every month for over a year. It's a number used by Drs offices to remind of upcoming appointments, lab work needed, outstanding bills, etc. Most commonly its to remind of upcoming appointment that I scheduled. They call whatever number I left when making the appointment.
Nana replied 2018-07-25 16:36:00I have no problem with that. My issue is the recording didn’t say an appointment with whom or where. I can go on Mychart and check but the University we go to usually calls themselves, an automated call to, & gives all info. When I call the number back, I am told it is no longer in service. -
I just received a call from this number and they left a voice message. The voice message didn't state whom the call was from just that I had an appointment and a past due bill and to contact them in three days so my account doesn't go into collections. I believe this is a fake call to trap people into giving their info out like credit cards, checking accounts, etc. I work for a national telemarketing company in our HR department and I am pretty aware of fraudulent calls and believe this to be one. Also in many states it is illegal to use a robo dialer such as this one that leaves an automated message such as this one. It is also illegal to call a cell phone with an auto dialer in every state without written consent from the cell phone owner giving the ok for that company to contact the cell phone. Food for thought in case these people become too persistent you do have laws that can protect you.
Champ replied 2016-01-09 02:34:32I think you mistakenly gave them a high rating of "2 ". Maybe you meant to give them an "8" or "9" which would mean they're not trustworthy? Thanks for your report. -

My wife's doctor apparently uses this as a reminder of appointments. Automated system, with no other identification. Alas, the Dr hasn't filled in any of the blanks other than appointment info.
-
Work from home & other ways to make money received in Pennsylvania. Calling with recorded message (robocalls)
-
This was a prerecorded reminder call for my urologist office. They gave the correct office name and location/date/time to remind me to go. Did not request any personal information or payment information. Probably a large outbound calling agency for smaller companies
-
called and said we missed an appt for (no name) and please call(no number)to reschedule. problem is I didn't miss an appt and they didn't say who/where/drs name and no number to call back, so even if i did miss something, I have no contact info. calling this number back results in a recording that says this number is not in service.
odd to say the least -
Reminder to get the flu shot
-
It is a doctors officer reminder service. They had all my information correct and knew who the appointment was with. It is legit.
-
Reminder of medical appointment.
-
healthcare scam for info
-
It said that my grandchild , and stated their name, had an appointment at 8:45 on Friday. Trouble is....when I called back, it said the number was not in service. So.....how am I supposed to know where and with whom the appointment is with? If this was a Service used by our doctors and I knew ..... it may not be a problem. We make many appointments with different doctor offices, all within a University...and do get reminder calls but always tell us with which department and doctor.

I received a call from this number and online searched it. I don’t have a message service so there was no message, but I do have a dr apt at end of week, so. . .
Glad an online community of people helping people exist instead of some business trying to profit from every little thing. Thanks all!

Drs. appointment reminder. Why a Colorado number when the Dr. is in Florida???? I didn't answer but a message was left.
-
My doctors office using an automated system to verify my upcoming appointment.
-

Virginia Mason Medical Center in Washington state

Called to remind me about upcoming medical appointment.
-
Called 5 times in 5 hours. Left no message. Probably scam or debt collection, but I don't owe anyone. Didn't call back.
-
I got a call today threatening "Further collection action" If I didn't call and clear up a medical debt (Lab work I believe it said). I do have a few medical debts, so at first it *seemed* on the level with one glaring omission. No company name was given.
I called the number and extension in the automated message. The message I got said I had reached "The Business Office." Again no company name was identified.
When the representative got on the line I identified myself and call back number.
After a brief and inconsequential back and forth, I asked which account or accounts the original call was in reference to. He said he would have to search their database and needed by DOB. So I gave it. (SOP apart from lack of a company name.)
I expected this search to take a couple of seconds. It took several minutes. When I inquired as to why I got a BS answer. But I played along. Ultimately the person on the other end said he couldn't find any accounts associated with my name and DOB.
So I said I wanted them to dig into it and give me a call back explaining why I got the autodialer call to begin with!
VERY SKETCHY!cavedweller replied 2018-12-15 00:53:20FYI-If it is collections, they can't legally identify themselves on a message nor can they identify who the debt is with. You state that you have debts and then call this service fishy because they call you reminding you of your debt....lame. -
spam robot call, if the doctor office can not have a human call & without my consent then i consider this spam!!
-
Reminder of a doctor appointment that I do not have. Didn't give doctor's name, address or phone number. Pure crap!j85ux
-
They called and left an automated message reminding me of an upcoming Dr appointment (that I really do have). The service is not very personal but the number is trustworthy.
-
Left message from a known location to let me know I was due for a vaccine. If I had questions to call the CDC. Crazy call with no call back number.
-
Optima reminding / recommending getting a flu shot
-
This is an automated message giving the delivery window for furniture delivery
-
It was my doctors office reminding me I have an appt this coming Tuesday, which I do. It's some
Sort of automated service they use -
Caller id was important msg. Left a voice message saying I was overdue for an eye exam. They gave a phone no. in my area to call 215-589-8839. This number is not even close to my docters number. I did not call it. A search found it was a cell phone no. I just saw my eye docter in November. Must be a scam or telemarketer.
-
When I called them back, I got a "fast busy" or "reorder" signal. I consider them as spammers.
-
Keeps calling this is a scammer beware file complaint with FCC
-

Automated Dr appointment reminder
Champ replied 2016-01-09 02:40:40Why would someone not having problems with the caller come to this site? I say the above comment and rating are planted by the scammers/spammers. -
Automated doctor's appt reminder service. Left me a mail about an upcoming orthodontist visit.

They left message about my genuine upcoming doctor appt. Not sure why they cloak their number in such a spammy way. It shows up as a Colorado area code when I don't live anywhere near Colorado and the caller name was "Important Message". Honestly :(
-
This was a reminder call about an upcoming doctor appointment. Long lapse at the beginning before the recording comes on is annoying - but if this were my biggest problem in life, I'd be delighted.
-
I received a call from this number but did not answer. I called back and the recording states that it is Aeroflow advising me that I am eligible for a new CPap machine and supplies. This is accurate. I am just waiting on my drs info to get faxed and I will have my new machine.

03/25-2015: I also did not recognize this number so did not pick up. However, when I called the number back there is no answer or voicemail message. To me that is an untrustworthy number.
Anonymous PNW replied 2015-03-26 01:50:0803/25/2015: Changing first statement. It was a call from Franciscan Medical Center for an appointment reminder. Why they are calling from out of state, I couldn't say.Kelvin replied 2015-06-09 19:34:42I agree.. I will not answer calls from this number even if I do miss an appointment!
I will discuss this with my Dr. Is he so busy that he has to "farm out" a few phone calls? I'll go elsewhere. -
