Has called cell repeatedly for the last week & I'm on Do Not Call list. When I call back, Verizon says number has been disconnected. No one there when I answer. Because it's only 4 digits I cannot block the number. How can this be legal? We've had a rash of telemarketing calls in the last week from various numbers. I'm going to buy a whistle & blow loudly in their ear & hopefully break their ear drum until it bleeds.

I got a total of 9 calls from this number yesterday. The first 5 happened at work - I didn't pick up. The last 4 happened at home around 830 PM! My husband picked up the call, the foreign sounding guy claimed to be with the government and that he had money to give me. I asked him his name, his number and for a supervisor. He kept trying to go into his sales talk crap. We told him we were going to trace the call, he said we couldn't cause he was with the govt and the line was secure. We hung up, he called back and said "did you trace the call yet?" I told him no and that this was harassment and that we would report him to the BBB. I told him do not call this number ever again and to remove me from his list and never call again. He called back 2 more times and asked again if I was able to trace the call. I cussed him out, hung up and blocked the number on my phone. I was STEAMED!!!

Please note that they don't have any information about your bank or card details. They would take out all information from you. Beware of such calls -

Called me about a governemt grant. Knew my name and address. And I told them to take me off their call list. He told me no, in a very aggressive way. I said I'd report it to the police (even tho I'm sure there's not much the police could do) he said he wasn't afraid of the police. He said he would take me off their call list if I repeat after him "you're cute, I love you baby"
I said no, and he told me I have to (like he was ordering me to so I hung up. Don't answer this call unless you wanna feel a weird uncomfortable pit in your stomach afterwards. -

i have been called 2 times so far and have not answered either. i tried calling back once but had to hang up so i was not able to see if someone would answer. I have added my number to the do not call list i am hoping this stops the calls

I've been getting several calls from this number along with an "unknown" number throughout the day. I answered once while on break at work to tell them to take me off the call list. When I answered the phone, there was an Indian sounding man on the other line. At first I thought it was a prank. He pronounced my name wrong and just kept asking "how are you" and "how is your day" before finally getting to the point. He claimed he was calling from a medical company and heard that I just recently had bladder surgery (I've never had surgery of any kind). I told him no and asked him kindly to take me off the call list. He replied "how do you feel?" And I hung up at this point.
After work I checked my phone and had eight missed calls all from 3458. When they called again, I answered and once again it was an Indian man on the other line. This one actually pronounced my name correctly. I asked him to take me off the call list and he said "I'm so sorry" and then I hung up. I have gotten three more calls since then. Hopefully they will just stop calling after a while. -

I have received several calls from this number. I finally answered to tell them to put me on the "do not call list." The Indian man said I signed up for a grant. I said I did not. He asked my age. I said "do not call again." He said he was coming to my house today to take me on a date. I said I would call the police. He said he was not going to kidnap me, it was a date. I said tell me the company you are calling for. He said a dating service. I hung up.

I was called 7 times on June 12 on my cell phone. When I answered it, there no one answered my "hello" right away, so I hung up. The last two times I didn't answer it, then it stopped. I blocked it on my phone now.

I've recently applied for jobs over the internet and that's how I think they got my number. The same number kept calling me about my 'request' for government grants. Every time it was the same foreign voice and he addressed me by name. I figured maybe I had checked a box by mistake. So I told him I didn't remember filling out an application and he told me I did. I asked him to stop calling me and he wanted a credit card for a $3.87 charge. I hope it won't give them acess to my phone, thinking maybe it was more of a credit card scam. If anyone figured out anything else on this let us know!!

Started getting these calks today. I didn't pick up as the calling number was odd, but if you have an Android phone I recommend The Easy Filter app to easily block this number.
