Received an automated phone call from 404-666-8766. The message asks if I am interested in a free home protection system. Please press 1. I did. I was instantly connected to 'Sam' from Home Protection Services. There were sounds as if it were a large call center. He asked me if I was a homeowner and I said,'Yes'. He asked if I was interested in a free GE Wireless Security system. I said, 'Yes'.
I then asked if I may ask him a few questions. He said, 'Sure'. I asked for his name and he said it was, 'Mike' (so he forgot Sam already). I asked where he was located. He said, 'Seattle, Washington'. I asked the name of the business he represents. He said, "Home Protection Services". I then asked for the business address. He said something along the lines of, "I can see that you are not interested in our offer. I will take you off the list." He then disconnected the call. -
