Person said his name was Sam and he asked for my mom by name which leads me to believe he is the same person who tried to hack her computer several years ago and resulted in her having to buy an new computer and change all her passwords. This time he said he worked for sbcglobal which she had an email through and then told me that various nefarious illegal activities were being done using that account. I didn't realize right away it was a scam, but later when I logged in to the email account there was nothing unusual. Before I did that I called the number back and got no answer, so clearly NOT any sort of a legit company. Definitely avoid this guy...I believe he was trying to steal mom's passwords and who knows what else years ago. He's definitely preying on older people...there's a special place...
