Im from NZ and have a few people in the states/Canada so answered the phone. Some guy with an Asian accent telling me I can set up an easy business and all I have to do is send them money. I asked where they got my name and number from and he said I signed up to one of their companies which I swore I did not. so hung up on them.

Called me twice reported unknown with the number 6472256295 as Telemarketer
Called my New Zealand mobile phone with some speel about making money on the sharemarket, they knew my name. Im guessing the wanted me to put money into something but hung up before they finished and blocked the number. Showed up on my phone as coming from Ontario, possible asian accent but didnt sound anything like the normal indian scammers. I could hear a room full of people in the background

Somehow got a work colleague's number off company facebook page (the number was locked to anyone but the two page admins). Due to the way the page is set up, the name is a pseudonym, so they called asking for the made up name, and my colleague insisted it wasn't her name but they were persistent. Tried to get her to give her real name, which she wouldn't. Said they were trying to give her money. My colleague hung up on them.
