Spoofed number. I didn't answer. No message was left. Capitol One has never contacted me by telephone in the many years I've had their credit card. I called Capital One using the number on the back of my card and was told by two customer service reps that Capital One did not initiate the call.

I received a letter addressed to my correct address, but the addressee was someone I do not know. When I called the the # in the letter, I was asked to enter my SS# at which point I hung up. I reported This to Capitol One And was told they would open a case. This is obviously a fishing scam so be very careful.
