Caller is an imposter for U.S. federal law enforcement requesting money. Foreign nationals behind this with sales of prescription drugs to the U.S. without prescriptions from a doctor. The phone number voicemail still references U.S. Custom and Border Protection.

We got a call from a man who said he was a US Government Customs and Boarder officer. He said he was sergeant Thomas, badge #33419. He was calling, that because of an illegal prescription coming from out of the country to our address, there would be a warrant out for my husband's arrest. My husband immediately needed to go to the Federal Building in Chicago to pay $8,300 to avoid being arrested! My husband was instructed not to hang up the phone or tell anyone! Ony a debit card or cash could be used! It is an upsetting phone call, but thinking it thru, we realized it was a scam. The man on the other end of the call, claiming he was a Federal agent, did not have a foreign accent, which makes the call more believable! BEWARE. It's upsetting to get these calls!
