   I received a call from this number, robo call asking if I wanted to lower my int. rates. I usually hang up but I was curious and pressed '1' for info. A man David Garcia explained about Debt Free America and said it was Fed. Govt progr. to reduce debt for seniors. He asked for last 4 #'s of SS and I became suspicious and said I was not interested, hung up. He called back 6-8x but I did not pick up. Two hrs Later another call a female said she was verifying a charge on my Citibank card for $1,299 made online for Walmart purchase. I denied authorization, said I did NOT make that charge and to remove it. She then tsf'd me to a man Peter O'Conner who I told again that $1,299 was not auth'd. He asked for my credit card # and last 4 numbers of my SS#. I refused to give that info, due to this being an unsolicited call. He gave me his number (same as abo e) with ext 1025. I told him I was suspicious already and told him about the pushy Debt Free America caller. He said Citibank works with that program and he would ck with their rep to see if they called me or if it was bogus. Oddly he had the same guy on a 3-way call within minutes and the 'Citibank fraud guy' stayed on and listened. The 'Debt Free America guy was Mike Thomas, and he later told me his ph #, which was same as above, different ext 1059. I got a long spill about 'Debt validation program' and Debt Free America. Told me I could eliminate BOTH Discover and Citibank balances (total over $20K) and they would handle it. Said I would only owe Citibank $550 for 3 mos. plus I would pay ACCO Svc (his agency) $20/mo for 18 mos. to pay them for 'rebuilding my credit. Said that I would have a bad credit rating for 21 mos but they would rebuild it. He then wanted my mother's maiden name and SS# which I refused to give him and I said I would need to discuss this with my cpa and to please send me all this info in writing. He got irritated and said I didn't need to discuss this with anyone else. I hung up. The next day I got 3 calls from this number , didn't answer, no message. Once a caller ID showed BCBS and I did answer, but it was this spammer calling so I hung up.
