Furious reported Fake tech support with the number +19732912556 as Harassment calls
I kept getting repeated phone calls from various numbers associated with this number, telling me I owed them $499.99(which I did not). They claimed they had charged this amount to my credit card, information I did not give them.
While on the phone with one man, I couldn't help but hear another "tech person" obviously conning someone, becoming more and more aggressive with her. When the man I was speaking with was trying to talk me into logging into my online bank account so he could transfer a refund to me, I insisted that if, in fact,the $499.99 in question had been charged to my card, he must have the ability to also credit my card for his mistake. He insisted I was not understanding him, so asked me to talk to his "tech guy". Said "tech guy" turned out to be the loudmouth I had overheard earlier. He started using the same technique on me. He told me they would send money to my credit card, called up a supposed bank account alleging it was his company's, and "proved" to me he had sent a refund to my card, and gave me a chain of numbers as the transaction number. I checked with AMEX, and no such amount had ever been charged to my card in the first place, nor did any credit appear. I told this to "tech guy", who accused me of lying, and kept yelling at me. I hung up on him. I waited a while to cool off and called the number again. The person who answered the phone answered "GEEKS OF ANERICA, how can I help you?" I told him I would be reporting the company and all the phone numbers I know are associated with them. In addition to this number they also use: 855-545-2477 and 858-895-1477. BEWARE!! THESE FOLKS ARE CONS!!!
