I've worked for barrister in the past and they were always late on payments. I always have to call and message to get paid. It's a legit company but they have a horrible accounting department apparently.
jason bender replied 8/15/23, 3:39 PMi have worked for them too. on a typical job that another company might call you once on maybe twice, these clowns will call you 5 to 8 times by the time its all over. Pay is crap, no travel expenses. -

Barrister kept calling and calling out of the blue to offer me an IT job. Yet I been in the IT field long time. I kept telling them no not intrested. They kept calling almost daily.
I then told them I already heard about thier low pay, late payments, not paying tech ect in my field. They would just hang when I asked them to stop calling. I even was extra nice to someone and they promised to have be removed. Didn't happened and kept calling under different numbers. That is stalking.
I had to start calling them back to harass them back. Finally after 2 months they stopped. I even reported to dontcall gov site. -

Answered phone and woman said she was looking to hire Cincinnati IT Tech. I told her maybe if they're willing to pay my hourly rate which is minimally $125 an hour and the b**** just hung up. They had called me six times earlier to which I hadn't answered as I was busy working. Borderline harassment
