They call every day of the week, multiple times per day. After reading these notes, I called Chase on my own, and found that there is nothing wrong with or past due on my account. DO NOT RESPOND TO THIS CALL.
Greg Katz replied 2016-09-16 17:07:57been getting these too. Up to 5 times a day. If Chase really wanted me they would at the very least leave a message (wait for the machine to pickup), if not write me a letter.
Unknown replied 2017-02-22 19:43:46I got called from this number twice. Missed the first call and found this site. I do have a Chase account and I look it up and turns out I had a returned payment and my account was over due. Paid my account online and later that day got this call again. They apologized for calling me again as they noticed I already had paid online.
This is a legitimate Chase phone number. Now, whether or not someone spoofed their number for illegitimate reasons; I don't know.kat replied 2017-06-28 19:20:39they've been blowing my phone up calling every hour today...never answered.don replied 2017-09-24 08:08:19it's ChaseAlyssa replied 2018-03-28 05:44:22It’s definitely fraud. This number was listed as the number to contact with notifications when any late payments or anything weird happened to my account. It makes sense that they might know what was going on with your account. Check your online banking and make sure it’s not listed in there anywhere! -
I'm sure many people are wary of this # based on the ratings/multiple calls received - I've never posted a comment on this kind of site before but I'm doing so just to corroborate that it was, in fact, from Chase financial regarding an issue with my most recent credit card payment (I had not updated auto payment settings to reflect new bank info and as a result my auto payment had been denied). I explained the situation and the rep said that he would note my account - even waived a late fee due to my years of good standing. I wasn't asked for any personal or financial information.
As for the reports of multiple contacts/no messages left, credit card payment centers can be pretty tenacious as everyone knows. It's also possible that it may be against protocol for them to reference any of your personal financial info unless its verified that they have reached the account owner in question.
In any event, it's just Chase - if you know you're behind on a payment, don't pick upYoshigata replied 2017-07-14 20:22:16I don't have any credit card at all. Never have...so it makes no sense for them to be calling me. -
Get calls from this number multiple times a day. Claims to be from Chase. If it's legit why does it show up as heavy truck trailer r on my caller ID? not buying it. Scam.

Just got a call from this telephone number. They said I was past due on a credit card. She gave ne the account # I did not recognize. Talked for 25 minutes her telling me about the account and how much I owed. She wanted me to pay by giving her a check # and bank routing info. I did not and when I questioned her about the account # I did not have a credit card I could find she hung up. I called back the San Antonio # and it answered as a Chase CC Center.....DON'T FALL FOR THIS IT'S A SCAM !!!

They ask for the last four numbers of your social Security number. If you don't give it they tell you to remain on the line for the next available support specialist. I left it on for 11 minutes and 49 seconds before the line hung up.
My suggestion is for you to call them and leave it on for the 11 minutes and 49 seconds and then call them back and do it all over again. -
This was actually chase, they just asked if I was myself, then they told me my automatic payments were about to end and if I would like to continue them, I said yes, the just verified my bank name that it was already coming from, that was it
I have them no info, no numbers nothing
Its actually chase bank... -
If your an Android user. Here is a great FREE app to handle these annoying numbers. Go to Google Play, search for 360 Security. Download and install the 360 Security -Antivirus. (the one with the green + in the yellow circle). After install and configuration, go into the program, SWIPE to the LEFT and select CALL & SMS FILTER. Tap FILTER SETTINGS, hit ADD, select FROM CALL LOG, check to the right all those annoying numbers you want blocked. On top of having a great phone blocker, you got a great phone antivirus app. Play with it a bit, I bet you'll like it. I've had it for about 2 years now with absolutely no issues.
-
It's chase, no Voicemail but they call 4-10 times a day when I'm a couple weeks late on a payment. I own that I need to pay them but don't blow up my phone on the first time I've ever paid you late FFS.
-
They called 8 times today, 10 yesterday. Under the fair debt and collection laws this is excessive and illegal. Maybe I should sue....

The number is being spoofed. Although this is a legitimate Chase number (2105206400), again, it is being spoofed. It is not Chase. I called Chase with the number on the back of my credit card and they said that they do not call. They either send emails or text messages. They also checked to make sure and no calls on their end. It is a spoof. Do not give these scammers any information.
-
This is not Chase - I saw J P Morgan Chase on caller ID and answered. She wanted me to give her my checking account number(s) so I could make a payment. I told her I would go online and do that. She argued with me - she REALLY wanted my bank numbers.
-
I got a call from (210) 520-6400. Chase rep stated that this number is NOT a chase number. What was weird is that my account was indeed behind due to prob w auto pay. I think chase may be outsourcing collections to a shady third party and may not want people to know. In any event, do NOT give personal info to this number. Call the Chase main line on card instead.
-
Lady with thick indian accent had my banking infomation. Tried to get me to give her my other bank account number. Would not take no for an answer and said this is my last chance.
-
-
spam call. Says from Chase, but when you call an automated message asks for your full card #. They have been calling daily for about a week.
-
SCAM..............They hung up immediately
-
Received the first call from (210)520-6400 at 11:54 AM EST on Sunday 10/14/2018. Caller ID = Chase. Upon answering the call, there was no response from this caller and then the call was disconnected.
Caller: (210)520-6400 may be either Chase or (data) collection agency misrepresenting itself. -
They have called me 20+ times. I finally called the Chase # on the back of my credit card and Chase confirmed that it is a fraudulent number NOT associated with Chase in any way.
-
Came up as San Antonio, Texas. I let it ring through. They left no voice mail.
Since so many mention Chase--I am a Chase member and my credit card IS past due and overdrawn. I've called them about my financial difficulties and they noted such on my record...and told me that I should expect phone calls--it's only fair that a business try to collect money from those who owe it. However, put your company in your caller ID. Frankly if you did, I'd not pick up either (nothing has changed). -
Some of the negative comments here are totally unfounded and sometimes quite silly and overreacting.
This is a Chase call center number in San Antonio. The gal told me that they're "not allowed" to leave messages certain days of the week.
Just check your account, go to the Chase.com website and call them back with their official number. Easy.
Getting all flustered and cancelling the card helps no one and hurts your credit.
Kern1215 replied 2017-12-06 22:11:46The voice of wisdom! Thank you for being logical and rational.Kern1215 replied 2017-12-06 22:57:31I'll confirm what John just said. I just called and got a guy in India, he couldn't confirm the numbers (210.520.6400 the number they called from, 888.694.6909 a callback number they gave me). I asked for an American call center, and the lady immediately confirmed the numbers belong to the Chase "Customer Support Division," which I think is a nice way of saying you missed or were late for a payment, this department will dun you until you pay up!" They are very nice, though. And yes, they do call until they get you and wear you down until you pay!Tahiess replied 2018-01-03 18:44:43Def a scam ..have called me 17 times in three days and ask for my SSN # or CC # and I do no personal business with Chase bank at allTimah replied 2019-04-29 21:31:15They tried to scam me today. They asked for my phone number, mother's maiden name and 3 digit code on the back of my card. They also wanted me to give them my card info to process a payment. -
This is a scam. They called repeatedly then claimed to be from Chase. They asked for my account number. I told them I had many account numbers, so they asked for my phone number. I gave them an old/unused number and said they could not find that in their system. Then they asked for my social security number - I asked them how many people gave them their social security number and their reply was "many people, I'm trying to help you." I asked them if they had considered an honest job instead of a scam and they played dumb, so I hung up on them. Definitely fraudulent.
Kern1215 replied 2017-12-06 22:59:32This is not a scam. They had all of my credit card info, which they should since they're the credit card company. Nothing scary, no scam, just actually trying to help bring delinquent Chase credit cards current, as is their right. -
I called the real Chase phone number and this 210-520-6400 is NOT a valid Chase #. DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION AND DO NOT RETURN THEIR CALL. SPAM FRAUD SCAM!!!!!
Kern1215 replied 2017-12-06 23:01:55Wrong. This is a valid Chase number. Not spam, not fraud. However, I just called Chase and got someone in a call center in India, and the guy said it wasn't a valid Chase department/number. I asked to be transferred to an American call center, and the lady immediately confirmed this number to be the Chase Customer Support Division, and she told me she could see notes that I'd spoken with them, and told me what the notes said. -
First of all: NEVER GIVE PERSONAL INFO TO PEOPLE WHO CALL YOU!
With that being said, this does seem to be a somewhat legitimate call from Chase. They called me repeatedly, and when I finally answered it, the female caller advised me that my payment attempt had been rejected because of a problem with the account number. She rattled off a scary amount of my personal information and then said that I could make my payment by check over the phone. I told her that I believed the call to be a scam and that no legitimate financial institution would call and request information from me. She insisted it wasn't a scam and said she wasn't requesting info from me. I replied that she had just said i could pay by check over the phone and that I was not going to give her any info. I said my husband would take care of anything that needed to be handled. She wanted me to confirm that I would pay a certain amount, and I reiterated that my husband would handle any outstanding issues. She kept trying to talk, and I said I was hanging up now and hung up on her.
After independently checking my account, I discovered that my payment really had been rejected because the account number entered was one digit short. While this does seem to actually have been a call from Chase, I'm PI$$ED that they would call their customers and request information, especially in this era of rampant fraud and identity theft. They should be encouraging members to NEVER respond to such calls instead of perpetuating the problem by making those calls. I am going to write a letter to Chase and then cancel my account as soon as I pay it off. That is terrible behaviour.
Also, I refuse to list "trustworty" on this format out of principle.
John replied 2017-09-29 19:09:01cancelling is a bit overreacting since it is your fault you put the incorrect number. Complain to their call in department but it's a valid card. -

These people are criminals. seems like Texas could put a stop to it.
-
Call several times a day. No idea who they are. Never leave any messages, nothing.
-
It's a scam... I get them all the time..Once they called 3 times in one day, I blocked them. I suggest doing the same.
-
This number called me daily for the last week, then started calling 4-5 times a day. I found these comments and have now blocked them. I never answered, so I cannot speak to the content of the call.

These would be fraudsters called me this afternoon 26 November;SAT.2016 telling me one of my credit cards with a bank was over due(the bank had STOPPED SENDING ME MY MONTHLY STATEMENTS)-then they asked me for my pass code /user name-whatever...They had very distinctive Indian or Pakistani accents. I freaked-NO I SAID I WILL NOT GIVE YOU MY DATA(SCAM-O-WHAM-O)...I just called the real bank number and they will start sending me my monthly statement once again...WHY DID THEY STOP SENDING MY BILLS IN THE FIRST PLACE,EH!?!
John replied 2017-09-29 19:25:55It wsasn't a scam. Glad you can tell a person's nationality by their accent. Did you really say scam o wham o? LOL -
called several days in a row, leaving blank messages. finally left a message yesterday claiming to be CHASE BANK--- this is not possible-- this must be a scam. PLEASE BEWARE.
ALSO--- the messages on this site that claim it isn't a scam are clearly fake--- think about it, if you got a legit call from chase bank, dealt with them and hung up....WHY WOULD YOU LOOK UP A REVERSE NUMBER WEBSITE TO COMMENT THAT IT IS LEGIT?????? -
CALLS 6-8 TIMES A DAY.... BLOCKED
-
Calls my cell 3-4 times day leaves no message, blocking number. Have TruCaller APP but is not catching this one
-
This number plus a few others have called non stop every day and night for about ten months now. After reading these comments I called Chase myself about my account and do not have any issue or problems. To tell you the truth all this started after I called and spoke with Bank of America's customer service several times. It makes me highly suspicious after reading on another site similar to this one that several people also had that common thread.
-
They call several times a day about an account I do not have.
Reading through the comments, I see they also try to pass themselves off as the IRS.
No-good, low life scam artists. -
-
I get calls from them daily. They don't leave a message but i am behind on my account with chase. I haven't called them back bc there's no point. But everyone says chase and it sounds legit
Tom replied 2016-09-26 23:28:27Could be but when Chase calls my home phone they leave message and say it is Chase. -
I get calls from this number three time a day if it chase I don't have a credit card with them I think it's a joke and I think they should quit calling that why I have call blocker on my phone the scammer get bent
